cold and then warm and pumpkins

The morning began a degree or two above freezing. Beatrice asked if we could go for a walk. So we did. We met her friend Diva and Diva's owners.  My wife was a touch under the weather from some early Halloween candy. She is better now.

I walked around Towne Lake Park in McKinney. The first Winter migrant ducks were on the lake--Gadwalls and American Wigeons admixed with the mallards. I drove to Story Park, but the butterflies were gone though it warmed up. A wedding was underway by Bethany Lakes Park.

I also rode my bicycle on the Watters Branch Trail until dusk.

In the evening, we enjoyed the David S. Pumpkins animated special. I created a 3-minute song from 16 samples. Then I sent them off for a compilation. The weather warms tomorrow.
