reliving voyages in a TOS time

Lately I enjoy watching re-runs of Star Trek: Voyager when the BBC America cable channel runs them in bunches on Monday night. Though I prefer the show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, I am enjoying viewing the Voyager episodes again.

I see that Livejournal enacted new terms of service that take a sledgehammer to user privacy. I am undecided about my next steps in light of that. Nothing I post is of any interest or posted non-publicly, but the change is nonetheless unfortunate. I have been here fifteen years. It feels like a home in which the zoning laws just radically changed. Most LiveJournal drama about mass exits sometimes struck me as a bit overdone. But this time feels a bit different.

I walked in Oak Point Park last night. I discovered that Top Shelf Comix sells DRM-free graphic novels, so I bought one. I downloaded the free Comix application, which does a good job of displaying the ecomic.

Yesterday I ate instant oatmeal, three slices of buffet pizza, broccoli, carrots, and three soft tacos (two chicken, one beef), some bananas and a gala Apple.

I read about rural Wisconsin towns.
