Today the promised rain held off until the evening.

The day largely followed my usual Sunday routine once I finished my instant oatmeal:
a. I took a brief walk first thing in the morning, this time on the Chisholm Trail. I saw 2 Northern Rough-Winged Swallows, whom I would usually see for the first time in April.
b. I attended Weight Watchers, where I lost exactly the 3.8 pounds I gained the week before. In in the parking lot, I got a card mailed off to Germany.
c. Before church, I walked in Oak Point Park, where I saw lots of little birds.
d. After church, I had three soft tacos at Casa Taco.
e. I walked for nearly an hour in Allen Station Park.
f. I went home and took Beatrice for her walk.
g. I picked up our back yard, to remove the evidences of dog.
h. I went for a quick last walk at Green Park.
i. We ate turkey sandwiches and salad and settled in to watch the Oscars.
