a giant forest to the south

Thanks for y'all who participated in the last poll.

Tonight I went to the Prairie and Timbers Audubon Society meeting. The speakers were good--they talked about the Big Spring historic landmark area in the Great Trinity Forest, just south of Dallas.

At lunch I walked in Timber Narrows in Murphy, where I saw an Eastern Phoebe,
two American Kestrels, a Turkey Vulture and a White-Winged Dove.

Work remains busy. Today's meals:
1.oatmeal for breakfast
2. a granola bar and a fruit and nuts bar for lunch
3. deli turkey on two sliders for dinner
4. tea biscuits and more oatmeal for snacks.
