the overhead gull

I woke from a dream about fellows stealing saddles notwithstanding a sting. I ate my oatmeal after rising at 7:50 a.m. I made it into the office in good order. At lunch, I ate buffet pizza, carrots, pineapple, pickles and broccoli. I walked in Heritage Park, where a Ring-Billed Gull flew overhead. At home, I read from Willa Cather's "One of Ours", watched "Shadowhunters", watched part of a mindless TV pachinko-based quiz show, and watched a college sports contest for a national championship in part. I read about places I might like to visit--Grand Forks, Grand Junction, Sun Valley, Missoula, Pembina Gorge. The Pembina Gorge interested me the most, but is the least easy to reach. For dinner we ate beef on whole wheat sliders with squash.
