eagle-eyed virtual shopping

I headed into the office after a morning oatmeal. At 10 a.m., I had a work call. At 12:30 p.m., we took our staff out for a holiday lunch at Gloria's. I ate a large bowl of Caldo de Pollo. I worked until a bit past 7 p.m., as I am working to meet some deadlines. After work, my wife let me know she was going holiday shopping. I went to Dickey's for BBQ chicken and green beans. Then I did my own Christmas shopping using smile.amazon.com. I like that Smile donates a little bit to the local Audubon chapter for each purchase I make.

I watched "Christmas in Connecticut" and enjoyed that movie more this year than ever. Now I am watching "Eddie the Eagle". I like the Eddie the Eagles of the world, even if they are never quite to Disneyesque.

I made some reservations for our 20-year-old niece to come for New Year's. We'll enjoy having her.
