revisting the look on-screen

Wednesday I worked a solid day. At lunch I walked in Bradfield Park in Garland. I like the sign at Bradfield Park that proclaims that every Tuesday the park hosts a session of "Soul Line Dancing" to which walk-ins are welcomed at a tariff of only $ 8.

I spent some time Wedneday night tinkering with the desktop environment on my computer. My computer uses the Trinity desktop, which is heavily based on an older desktop called KDE 3.5. I tried lots of preset changes. In the long run, I got to something a bit more useful--same general look, same no-icons approach, but a better configuration for the Start Menu. In past years, my screen was a sea of icons. Now I prefer to have no icons other than battery and wi-fi icons in the bottom right.

My food log for Wednesday:
Breakfast: multi-grain Cheerios and skim milk
Lunch: Three roast chicken wings, green beans and yeast roll from Golden Chick
Dinner: leftover chicken and charro beans.
