I headed off to work a little earlier than usual. I prepared for and handled a morning business matter. At lunch, I walked in Bradfield Park. Near the creek, I saw a Tufted Titmouse, a Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker, some White-Winged Doves and a Blue Jay. I dined at Cici's, where I had two slices of pepperoni pizza, raw broccoli, raw carrots, diced pineapple, and dill pickles.
After work I stopped by Kroger for some dog treats, some baked chips, and some bananas. When I arrived home, the fellows we hired to replace some of our dead backyard bushes were finishing up. I was pleased this week to find that our Pomegranite tree, which I believed near-dead, has risen again.
I walked Beatrice in the park. I watched NCIS, then This is Life and then Chicago Fire on television. Now I am listening to an interview with the Vice President.
The days are getting shorter!
