holiday end and after the holiday

Monday evening we watched fireworks in our neighborhood. We joined lots of our neighbors on the sidewalk area on Ridgeview Drive. The fireworks started at 9:45 p.m. and concluded with a bang at 10:05 p.m. We enjoyed the show, and like that we can walk a few minutes from our home to a fireworks show each July 4.

I worked a solid day at work. At lunch, I ate church's chicken and walked among Loggerhead Shrikes at Salmon Park in Sachse. I left my office after a productive day. I stopped by Suncreek Park and took a walk. Tonight we watched the movie "Stagecoach" and part of "The Searchers". We dined on chicken, potatoes and green beans. Tomorrow the heat advisory continues.
