strawberries and losing tickets

I began my early morning fixing a part of a song I created Saturday. I worked a solid day. During lunch, I walked in Salmon Park, passing an Eastern Phoebe and an immature Cooper's Hawk. I ate Church's chicken.

After work, I walked in Shawnee Park in Plano. I stopped by Kroger's for a pound of salmon, green beans, fresh strawberries and a scratch lottery ticket and a Texas Two Step lottery ticket. I didn't win on the scratcher. The jury is still out on the Texas Two Step, which draws on Thursdays.

I felt tears well up when the AM radio station interviewed survivors of the Florida shooting.
