nuthatching

At lunch, I walked in Heritage Park. The Loggerhead Shrike flew from a nearby tree onto a soccer goal. I dined in raw broccoli, raw carrots, dill pickles and two slices of 12" sausage buffet pizza. After work, I walked in Bob Woodruff Park. The weather is now hot, but the ground remained a bit wet. I saw lots of Eastern Bluebirds and Eastern Phoebes, and a single White-Breasted Nuthatch. The nuthatch marked the 91st species from my county that I have logged this year into ebird.com. We dined tonight on chicken and then took Beatrice for a walk in the park. I watched an episode of "Angie Tribeca" and thought about Saturday.
