Pond and Breeze Redux

The daylight brought chill and a hint of rain. The sky remained overcast. At lunch I walked in Murphy's Timbers Nature Park. I saw a small bird shinnying up a tree. I thought it a Brown Creeper, a Winter resident. But a photo showed it was a Black and White Warbler, migrating through on its way north.

Tonight on, I tuned in for the second Friday in a row. I knew that one of my songs was being played tonight on that program. I settled in to enjoy instrumental ambient and electronic music centered around the theme of Spring. The song of mine played turned out to be "Pond and Breeze".
I created this track in 2012. As I listened, I noticed that the song gets simpler and simpler as the song goes on. It's the way of my music in general--simpler,more melodic, more pastoral. But not quite musical.I was grateful to have my song played--and enjoyed the entire 90 minutes of the program. Right next to mine was a song by Tuneola,an Australian music-maker. I like his music's hand-hewn home-made fun.

My wife picked us up pasta at Spazzo in Allen, I liked my spaghetti marinara.

Now we are watching the movie about the Life of Chopin. Beatrice is not watching. She is asleep.
