warm start to a cold month

February started with two lovely days. I worked solidly and well, but got a chance to get outdoors a bit on the margins.

I followed the election primary in Iowa a bit, though Iowa looks to me as if it is only a bellwether for Iowa itself, perhaps Moline, Illinois, and a rural county in Nebraska or so.

Tonight I threw my dog's red lobster toy and watched "Groundhog Day"
