brown paper BBQ

Dark-Eyed Junco I saw in the Crape Myrtle in our backyard in the morning chill when I was heading to work:

My wife had the day off for the holiday. She called me to say she had been at the shopping center next to my office building today. She learned that the Clark shoes was having a going out of business sale.

After work,I stopped by the Clark's. I found they had a two pairs of shoes for ninety-nine dollars. I bought two pairs at the sale price, to learn that the store's imminent demise meant another 40% discount off the $99. I ended up with two pairs of nice shoes for under 60 dollars. I really like Clark's so I am content.

After work, my wife called to say that she had an unexpected errand to run to help a friend. I stopped by the new Dickey's BBQ at Alma and Spring Creek. The place was small and nearly empty. I ordered a chicken breast plate. I liked they served my food on brown paper on a metal tray, almost like a Cajun fish boil place. The fellow behind the counter was super-friendly and helpful. I was glad to see more customers arrive as I left.

I just finished watching "Supergirl" and am now reading about how to use the program Musescore to write music. I need to learn to use the software Jack.
