quick-fried and cool on the way

I find myself reasonably busy at work. The weekdays are warm and windy. Chilly weather returns on Saturday. The Texas Ornithological Society is having a convention in my town, but I have not signed up to attend any of it.

At lunch I had Church's fried chicken. For some reason, its high-temperature peanut-oil preparation technique makes it friendly for the Weight Watchers program.
I again had instant low-fat oatmeal, which is surprisingly tasty.

I am reading a really good sci-fi novel, in the merchant-marine-in-space genre, a sub-genre of space opera I enjoy. An artist sent me a link to use of my music in her showcase illustration video. Her drawings were really fun.

My dog Beatrice loves chicken bark.
