weary saturday

Saturday morning I felt exhausted from my business trip. I took Beatrice for a walk. I also walked in Limestone Quarry Park in Frisco. I listened to a linux podcast. The host of the podcast recently went through a divorce, a matter which became public because he and his now-ex hosted a separate podcast. The podcast also had recently switched from audio/video to audio only. I was sad to see that internet trolls had taken to taunting the host in Youtube comments. Trollery is so unnecessary. I was intrigued how it mattered to me that this couple with kids I do not know at all split up. I hate to hear of marriages with children that fail.

I walked Beatrice a second time tonight. I rested and watched sports. I did and folded all my laundry. The sports team from my alma mater lost a heartbreaker. Breaking hearts is what alma maters do.
