Quick trip

I got up at 5 a.m. Wednesday to get ready for my downtown Los Angeles business meeting. I breakfasted at 7 a.m. in a small coffee shop in the first floor of an office building. At 8 I had a pre-meeting. By ten my meeting was over. I walked in Griffith Park in lieu of lunch. Then I handled some work calls and caught my three p.m. plane. We were delayed an hour before we took off. On the plane home, I finished my latest science fiction novel. A woman from Nova Scotia who now lives in Uptown in Dallas was an agriculture scientist or something and she explained how long the El Nino would last. She used a classification word I must look up. A young man was on his way to do a college visit at the University of Oklahoma. He wanted to study architectural engineering. We landed in a spell between the rains. I am glad to be home.
