shawnee and sandwich

I walked Beatrice this morning when things remained cool. She loved seeing a rabbit near her on the walk, even if a certain discretion on my part kept rabbit and dog a bit separated.

I worked a solid day, and then headed to Shawnee Park in Plano.

I liked the red-winged blackbird I saw. I counted 18 species in 58 minutes. Then I got a sandwich at Subway and headed home. My wife has her twice weekly exercise class tonight.

We are working on finalizing vacation plans. I am reading a fine speculative fiction book.
Today it was hot and sunny--the rainy season appears to be on hiatus.
