bike paneer

I woke up early this morning. After a bowl of raisin bran, I listened to music on my computer through my headphones. At 7:15, I took Beatrice for a walk. She found four young squirrels cavorting twelve feet up in a tree. She sat down to watch them play.
She was much less interested in the basset hound and French bulldog who each wished to make her acquaintance.

At 9:15 a.m. I went for a bicycle ride on the Watters Creek Trail. I really enjoyed the ride. I kept a log of the birds I saw. One bird I do not see as often here as most birds. It was a Great Crested Flycatcher.

I loved the Texas thistles:

I wrapped up the ride just before 11 a.m. Then I spent most of the early afternoon finishing some gift shopping. At one p.m., I mailed off one gift to a friend with an imminent birthday. Then I shopped a bit for things for my wife. Today is my wife's birthday, commencing a three-month annual cycle when our ages are temporarily the same.

We went for dinner to Sigbee Grill, an Indian restaurant in Frisco. I had tandoori fish, while my wife had chicken paneer. It was all very good. We came home, and we opened a few gifts for our anniversary and my wife's birthday. I got a great wide-brim barrel hat. I am a happy man.
