a Wednesday in Spring

Today was a day of immature Eastern Bluebirds and Red-winged Blackbirds, of a Common Nighthawk in flight and evening primrose in bloom. We ate red quinoa tonight. Now Beatrice is sleeping on her Mississippi bed, while we watch news of bad weather in Oklahoma.
