Monday crowds

I struggled through traffic this morning. Someone declared it Monday. The sun came out today and the weather turned warm. We worked hard at work. I made hotel reservations tonight for an upcoming brief trip to the California desert. At Noon I saw birds:

I am reading a science fiction novel, thinking about paperwork I need to do, and
thinking about meeting some deadlines.
