sun and cloudcast

I woke early but fell back asleep and slept until 8 a.m. I went to church at Suncreek United Methodist Church. I was pleased to find the service began with a handbell choir performance by the kids in an ensemble called Sunringers or some such.

When the service was over, the small trees behind the open-field church were filled with singing birds. I drove to Green Park nearby and took pictures of sparrows and a Downy Woodpecker.

At Weight Watchers, my weight was slightly up. I have been in a rut since roughly November. I am one pound over that weight that said "if I weighed x, I would be happy" though eleven pounds from the point at which I reach goal weight. I suppose I should be more assiduous and break the hiatus. The main difference between one week and another is amount of exercise, though the huge meal I had Friday night probably did not help.

I went for a walk at Shawnee Park in Plano. A nice bearded young man showed me what he termed an Eastern Screech Owl nest in a cavity in a tree. The sun came out, after days of rain.
I drove home and took Beatrice for a walk.

Tonight I finally released a new Graham Wafercast cloudcast. My guest is Thomas Mathie, who owns the netlabel We are all Ghosts. He recorded an interview for me over a year ago, and finally, after a trial and tribulation or so, I'd released the episode 8.
