The temperature at 11:46 a.m. hovered just above zero Celsius. Only a few other people were using the park. When I first arrived, I noticed a commotion of Northern Cardinals and Tufted Titmice on a nearby tree by the water. I watched Titmouse after Titmouse go into a hollow between two trunks of a tree. I surmised that something edible resided there, perhaps sap. I snapped a photograph of one Tufted Titmouse.
I also saw Gadwall Ducks, Mallard Ducks, Pied-Billed Grebes, Northern Cardinals, Northern Mockingbirds, American Coots, a Great Blue Heron, a Great Egret, Northern Shoveler Ducks, and Ring-Billed Gulls.
I went to lunch at a new place, Tiger Grill. I had a credible pho ga',though the noodles stuck together a slight bit. Then I headed home. In our backyard, I saw Dark-Eyed Juncos, Northern Cardinals and House Sparrows. I watched television and rested. The trip out in the cold wore me out a bit.
Tonight we went to Samui Thai, a place we like. I tried the special, basil salmon. It tasted good. When we got home, I started looking at Archive.org for interesting films to download. Next I will settle down in bed to read my book.
