meadowlark on a tree

When I stopped by the park at lunch, I saw a meadowlark on top of a tree. I am not positive if it is eastern or western,but eastern is usually a safer bet here.

The news is full of the situation in Ferguson, Missouri. Today I remembered living in Los Angeles during the Rodney King unrest, many years ago.

I dined on whole wheat pancakes at IHOP. Tomorrow afternoon I get to go see my in-laws, of whom I am fond. My ereader is charged.

I thought I might skip television tonight, but I thought again.
