balloon and a bark

I saw a hot-air balloon in the distance in Shawnee Park in Plano. I also watched a yellow-rumped warbler atop a tree.

When I headed off to take a walk with Beatrice, I was a bit slow getting our front door locked. Beatrice, eager as ever, saw two dogs across the street. So she gave them a piece of her mind. They seemed insensible of the value of this gift.
