the sound of 6 bikes slapping

I spent a busy day at work. After work, I stopped by Shawnee Park. I watched northern mockingbirds, kingbirds, scissor-tailed flycatchers, and a northern cardinal. When I pulled into the parking lot, 6 young fellows on biycles rode in front of me. They laughed as they passed, and one slapped the side of my vehicle.

The workers got a lot done today. The drywall repairs are well underway. Everything is covered in plastic. I talked to my brother tonight about something fun in his life, and stop now to pet my dog.
