angels and bluebirds

Over an inch of rain fell today. The internet buzzed with tales of a senseless killing of two police officers in Nevada while they ate at a CiCi's pizza buffet.
Bluebirds perched in the park. Two passed pawns race toward destiny. Priceline found a Springhill Suites on the right evening at the right price. "The Kraken Project" by Douglas Preston rests on a nearby e-reader. A single bill got paid. The "Adjustment Bureau" plays on the TV screen--that feel of romance, science fiction and other-worldly things always appeals.
