road trip

Friday my brother, my nephew and I drove up to Arkansas to handle some family business. The trip involved a lot of driving, a lot of business-oriented practical meetings, and no time to hike or enjoy the outdoors. We got to see my sister, who was in town from Alabama, and my lte father's wife. We had a very productive day. I counted 7 hawks on the trip down. In my father's backyard, we saw three doe deer.

I spoke with my brother and my nephew of computers and their specs, cars, favorite foods, family things, and favorite Chinese cafes. We arrived at my house at 9:30 p.m. or so. I went to bed fairly early, but then proved unable to sleep after 4.30 a.m. or so. I am up listening to ambient music, and getting ready to face a fun Saturday.
