plover-like

I landed very late last night, but arrived home by midnight. I listened to the BBC on the radio while I drove home. This morning I threw a tennis ball for Beatrice. My wife left early to attend a training session for work. I was a bit tired at work, but still went at lunch for a nice walk in the park. I also went for a walk in the early evening, and took photos of a green heron. There was also a little plover-like bird at Oak Point Park that was like a tiny killdeer with sleeker wings. I could not identify it.

Friday it is supposed to rain. We need it to break the drought.
