Waiting in the Pacific Northwest.

My return to Dallas from Portland finds me with a long layover before my near-midnight redeye flight. Last night I dined on sushi on 5th avenue or so in a lityle place where a small train pulled platters around the bar/table. I was too tired to go for a late afternoon walk. Tonight I ate chicken and vegetables from a chain Japanese airport place. I am over half done reading Cloud Atlas and I am enjoying it. I am thinking about obscure operating systems, postal chess, my father's upcoming 80th birthday, the need to learn seq24, and prairie dogs.
