the next move

I'm starting six postal chess games. Each is roughly four or five moves old.
A new chess game is like a new piece of paper. One starts to draw on it, and then it is changed, perhaps ruined. There's something about making moves, knowing that many will be wrong. What seems like a great idea turns out to be a fatal mistake. But once in a while, a set of moves works out very well indeed.
