arizona mountain snow

The news this weekend has been the huge Winter Storm Nemo that poured snow on cities in the east coast. My day was spent taking walks in Tucson parks, where all the snow just a distant vision, faraway at upper elevations.

We've had a great time with family here. I like Arizona birds. Some we have in Texas, but many
are not present where we live. A few we have do not live here. I like learning more about birds.

I brought my computer running Fedora 18 on this trip. It's worked great, with one challenge.
I figured out during my flight that the optical drive turns off when the power cord is not plugged in. I vaguely remember that all laptops used to do this, and that perhaps there will be a
way to make it do otherwise.

Tonight I had carne con chili colorado. I am content.
