foggy birds

A morning fog receded into a hazy noontime. I went at lunch to half-priced books in Garland. I was hunting for bird books about Arizona birds. I did not find any. I did find some books about western birds. When I checked out my inexpensive finds, I asked the clerk if he could do a computer search for birds of Arizona. He said he would need an exact title. I told him that I thought they had computerized the inventory. He said they had, but he needed a title or author. I produced an exact title, "Birds of Southeastern Arizona". He ran the term. They did not have the book. I found it on Amazon with my cell phone while I waited. I will see if I can get it in another store later on.I ate lunch at Firehouse Subs.

I went to Radio Shack after work, hunting for a mouse for the new/used laptop. Their prices were high and the selection limited. I went to Big Lots, where the prices were lower and the selection greater. Yet the mouse I got may not work with this computer. I will read up and try again.

Now I am watching television. A commercial touts a reality show that features jobless people begging for jobs.
