Right now, 7:52 a.m., the temperature is a few degrees above freezing. This afternoon it will be in the 60s F. (~18 C.). I plan to hike a bit today,
do some practical things, and perhaps do  a bit of work today. Tonight we'll either see a movie or go to the ballet. 

I like watching Youtube videos of the Linux Action Show. I read an article today about arboreal birding in Minnesota in a giant bog.
The sky is a lovely blue this morning, with traces of thin white clouds.  So much news sounds like noise this week. I am very concerned about the Algerian situation involving violent radicals taking over an oil facility and the resulting battles. 

I am thinking about actuarial tables, Ubuntu studio, and peppermint tea.
