Saturday late afternoon I had a business meeting. I also met a really charming happy adopted-from-the-shelter dog. Saturday night we ate pizza from Papa Murphy's and watched an episode of Doc Martin, season 5.
Sunday I went to church. It was commitment Sunday, when folks bring their pledges up front. The minister, to his credit, gave a sermon that was not just 'give, give, give'. Most of the people who brought their pledges up front were elderly, which made me wonder if younger folks prefer the mails or if younger folks do not pledge. I suspect the former. My walk with Beatrice was delayed until late morning, after we were deterred from our first effort by a steady light rain.
Sunday afternoon I worked on partitioning my laptop and installing a Linux distro. Using Youtube videos for tutorials whenever I got stuck, I successfully partitioned the computer. My effort to install Puppy Slacko failed when I booted Puppy from a live CD, began the install, but then the system said the live CD did not contain Puppy. Perhaps I will find a video for how to overcome that. I love that there is a youtube on how to do anything.
Sunday late afternoon I watched a sports event and had a phone call with a fellow on a business matter.
Then I got a good night's sleep. This morning the cold front is in session, so that I will put on warm clothes before walking Beatrice.
