side yard rabbit

side yard rabbit, originally uploaded by gurdonark.

I stopped by Breckinridge Park in Richardson after work on Thursday evening. A flock of male scissortail flycatchers was there. I took photos of some of them in a tree, and then watched them do an aerial display as they caught bugs. They were migratory, as our local ones have already headed south. We watched the new TV show "Elementary" last night and enjoyed it . I am reading a book about Texas wildflowers illustrated with hundreds of pictures and prefaced by an introduction written by Lady Bird Johnson. I must complete more continuing legal education to meet a requirement in the coming days.
