frogs and vista

Garden of the Gods vista, originally uploaded by gurdonark.

I got up well before light to take Beatrice for her Saturday walk. She stopped at one point--I thought she was confronting a mouse. It was not a mouse, but a palm-sized bullfrog. She set it down when I mentioned it to her.We moved on. I was not able to do a detailed analysis of the frog's health, but suspect it is either okay, or a heron's breakfast. I know it is in Bea's nature, but I'd rather she not grab a hold of frogs. In other news, I saw incredible vistas today.
