green heron

This morning I took Bea for a walk in the dark. She liked all the cottontail bunnies. Work was interesting today, and I enjoyed it. At lunch and after work, I went to East Fork Park on Lake Lavon. The little side
park with the creek or river or what have you had an immature green heron (actually, two different green herons) each time I visited. Here is one:

The temperature today was over 105.

I called my dad today because he turned 79. He's a good fellow, and I hope he lives forever.
My wife and I ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and watched parts of the Olympics.
