Today I have been doing practical things. Some work has gotten done. A good bit of laundry has gotten done. Beatrice and I took a nice walk around the pond on this very pleasant day. On that walk, I saw a lovely eastern bluebird, which I do not often see in Glendover Park. It allowed me to come quite close, but unfortunately I did not have a digital camera or cell phone with me.
I drove to Allen Station Park to get a bit more exercise. Lots of trees and a few flowers were in bloom. I saw a few dozen robins, a blue jay, a dark-eyed junco, mockingbirds, and various sparrows.
Ted and I took a shorter walk up and down the block under a 5 o'clock blue sky with a vivid moon. Ted cannot go for long walks anymore. She likes to be outdoors, but can only go a few blocks. She has reached the age in which she is easily disoriented. We are glad we have good vets who give us good advice and medicine to help us take care of her. I fear Teddy's time with us is winding down. She's a grand dog.
I need to sell my prior car, once it is in shape to sell. I worked on getting it emptied of belongings this afternoon, but I still have work to do on it. Tonight I will work more, and work on laundry more.
I watched (again) a movie I love "A River Runs Through It". When I see the movie, it brings a tear to my eye
and a desire to visit Montana or another western state. I have a hard copy of the book somewhere, but I think I'll see about getting it in ebook form. Tonight, though, I will do more chores, work some more, and watch a bit of television.
